I have not seen any survey results or national statistics about how many Dads inquire about cloth vs Moms, but I can tell you from my live classes, many Dads initially inquired about cloth and/or attended my class. Some were hesitant, but then after becoming educated became very interested in cloth diapering. And many of the Dads who chose to cloth diaper their babies became big cloth advocates because they really appreciate all the benefits (health for baby, huge savings, and better for the environment).

For some reason I haven’t seen any announcements about the shows in what seems like months! This should be an interesting one. With my first baby I was under the impression that if you breastfeed then you’ll pump too. I don’t know where that thought came from, but I got a pump before I had him, then only used it a few times. I’m a sahm, so I just nursed whenever he needed to and my body regulated perfectly. Now I’m expecting #2 soon and still feeling fuzzy about pumping/giving my baby a bottle. It’s just a big mystery to me.
